Not much happens in the neighborhood, but sometimes you hear about accidents and houses catching on fire. On june 27th 2011, an apartment caught on fire and two seniors were treated for smoke inhalation.The apartment number was 1140 Bloor Street near Dufferin Street. One person was treated at the scene and another was sent to the hospital as a precaution. While on September 21st 2011, a single car crush sent a woman to the hospital, the fact took place in the parking garage of Dufferin Mall, in the Bloor and Dufferin area. These are some of the facts that took place in my neighborhood and that happened not long ago. Luckily we don't hear these kind of news that often.
